I’ve been managing and treating patients with chronic and cancer pain, for more than 2 decades. During my vast experience I noticed that pain patients visit various healthcare providers, spend money, and yet do not get satisfactory pain relief. Mostly this is because of lack of awareness/knowledge about pain physicians & pain clinics. The cancer pain patients are the real victims of this situation. It was my dream to establish a facility that provides a comprehensive management of patients with persistent/long standing pain. KB Pain center provides a scientific & compassionate pain relief methodology. In KB pain center, the Pain specialist who is trained in pain management, plays a pivotal role, takes responsibility of evaluation and treatment of pain. For appropriate referral to other consultant when needed, the services of various consultants; Orthopedic Surgeon, Rheumatologist, Physiotherapist, Neurologist, Neurosurgeon will be available under one roof. The KB Pain center is the first dedicated facility for pain management, first of its kind, in Pakistan. The establishment of KB Pain Center is “A DREAM COME TRUE”
